CapnJack
I'm in the midst of a stage 3 build and am installing TGV deletes, turbo, UP, FMIC, etc. Basically, the engine is stripped right now. I also plan to install a new clutch. Instead of pulling the transmission, I figured I might as well leave it in place and rock the engine forward instead. I remember seeing threads on this and for the life of me can't find them. Does anyone know if I can simply rock the engine forward on the mounts enough to get at everything or do I need to use an engine hoist?
suds2250
You need a hoist. Remove the radiator to gain clearance and bring the engine forward. 335HP/360Tq VF-22/1820 clone with Meth
CapnJack
I kind of figured after looking at it a little more. I found a local place to rent a hoist for $25 a day. Thank you!
