mccorry
Here are some final shots of the custom mount plate I made for my LGT cubby. The gauges are 52mm. The left is an oil pressure gauge and the right is an EGT. I am waiting for my AVO dash pod for the boost gauge so I can finish the job... The plate I made uses all the factory screws to mount, so I can drop the factory cubby box back in if I wish sometime down the road.... Hope you like it.... JimKent
Very nice. Just bought an 05 LGT and was surprised to learn an OEM gauge package (oil temp, oil pressure, voltmeter) is available for the Forester but not the LGT. Did someone at FHI get up on the wrong side of the brain? Your solution is elegant. I just sold a 1990 Saab SPG and it had an OEM (VDO) gauge package with all 3 that fit in about 4 inches. They were small, but brighly lit and well designed so easy to read. Anyone know of an aftermarket package like this? I miss the boost gauge. TSiWRX
Like I've said elsewhere, Steve, that looks *great* ! Looks like a factory-option job to me, and IMHO, that's how installs should look, "factory." Great job. --- OT - uh...furry fuzzy leg. - not using that GMC as a "ramp stop," are ya? <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family

mccorry
A little too much involved for me to make multiples of the unit. I did a lot of cut, fit, cut, fit, etc. to get it to go in just right. Not sure that I could just bend one up and have it fit. Sorry..... I do have some extra metal and letherette fabric if anybody wants some.

legacy2005
the gauges look nice. how bad is the glare on them during the day? ive noticed that the radio/clock/ac is kinda hard to see during the mid day sun, especially with the sunroof open. Work hard. Play even harder. My Garage
