19Outback95
my master cyl looks like this so the common answer i found through searching which was the 3 prong for adapter which won't work. http://www.rockauto.com/getimage/getimage.php?imageurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rockauto.com%2Finfo%2FRaybestos%2FMC390373-10.jpg&imagekey=309452-0&width=450 the pics on the motive site are small and the descriptions don't really give any dimensions on the adapter. http://motiveproducts.3dcartstores.com/Import-Adapters_c_28.html i already have the whole bleeder kit with the pressure bottle for my other car so i really just need the adapter for the subaru
snederhiser
Hello; I believe this is what you need. Once you take the cap off it is flat on top. 1101 Round Universal Adapter Steven.
19Outback95
i was looking at that one but then i started looking through the other screw on ones they have but without any dimensions to go on i couldn't narrow it down. also had another thought to take a stock cap from the junkyard drill a hole in the middle and make a home made setup. stevenva
Taking a stock cap and drilling a hole in it doesn't work, you're close though. I drilled a hole and inserted a valve stem in a stock junkyard cap for my setup. I thought I was so clever. Turns out the rubber gasket on the stock cap is vented, brake fluid was everywhere! I felt like a dejected Gilligan. I removed the vented black gasket from the cap and used a Fluidmaster "tank to bowl" toilet gasket as a seal. http://www.fluidmaster.com/our-products/toilet-parts/tank-to-bowl-empaque.html. I picked it up at Home Depot for a couple bucks. It was a perfect fit. Take the gasket with you to match the diameter because they had a few to chose from.
