I also Have one EVO 16G of a 2003 Evo8 needs rebuild and I also have a stock 95 talon TD25 turbo... My question is what turbo's if any are compadiable with the stock VF40 hotside? New the the turbo relm as I normal build 6.0L /LQ9's and then spray them. any help would be nice, this is my DD normally don't want to drop a ton of cash on it if I dont need to replace the turbo cheers thanks for the imput Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Max Capacity Posted March 4, 2013 Share Posted March 4, 2013 Talk to Brian at BNRturbo's, he rebuilds and sells 16g, 18g, 20g's for these cars. I went with a vf52 on my wagon. There's are links here somewhere. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
