(mustang dyno) 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. mmmmspecb Posted May 7, 2013 Share Posted May 7, 2013 Just an FYI on the 3rd vs 4th gear comparison. I took my old RSX to a local Dyno after getting it street tuned with bolt ons. The shop owner insisted we do the pull in 3rd gear and we did 3 times (the type s is 6 speed). I only made 202-203whp and I KNEW I should be making much more than that... I asked him to do the 4th pull in 4th gear and told him that 4th was much closer to 1:1 than 3rd was. He scoffed and told me I was wasting my time and I would maybe make 2 more HP... Sure enough my 4th and final pull in 4th gear yielded 225 whp, an increase of nearly 23whp! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
