mwiener2
Propane's octane as rated in the USA would be around 105. The rest of the world would call it 112 octane. frank_ster
^ agreed propane at low tempertures will simply have low boil pressure Now that's thinking out of the boxer! fyi all 05 + legacy's have built in code reader
mwiener2
can you do a propane / cng / gasoline vehicle? My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons
ehsnils
Just don't confuse CNG with Propane, different pressures... As I stated earlier. CNG/LNG are Methane. And Propane is often mixed with Butane to some extent, so the "quality" may vary a bit, but not too bad, the worst problem is usually that Butane boils at around 0 degrees C (would be about 35F), which makes it a bit awkward in the winter. frank_ster
yea cng is compressed to 3000 lbs or so while propane about 200 lbs depending on temperature so a better tank is needed Now that's thinking out of the boxer! fyi all 05 + legacy's have built in code reader
