csbrown28
Forgive me if this is a re-post. I tried searching and I get a ton of threads about removing the stock stereo, but not the question My question is if I could separate the stock stereo from the digital controls without effecting the heat controls or anything else necessary. From there I'd have a custom mount built for an aftermarket. Feel free to post a link if there is already a thread on this...and please, be gentle. zenfamily
I remember somebody doing a similar setup, but they ended up cutting the stereo in half and folding the frontpiece. The HVAC controls are actually integrated into the rest of the stereo.
csbrown28
I'm not above trying to cut it in half, the question is, will this damage the heat controls?
