colby Posted December 14, 2012 Share Posted December 14, 2012 strait headers ftw. jk. i really doubt on these older na cars that anything after market would be worth any power. i have seen alot more restrictive exhaust. along as you dont have a clogged cat i dont think you will loose any power with stock over larger. You are better off doing bushings or regular preventive maintenance for performance imho. some borla nock offs would open up the sound doubt any kind of power gains. As far as exhaust goes, like he said you're not gonna see any big gains when it comes to hp per $. I might get some borla knock offs or even just some EJ22 headers (since they are UEL) and a muffler, but I'm just going for a little sound not power.
