boxerbenny
Hi there, Can someone please tell me what this black plastic piece behind the flex plate on this motor is? Oil seems to be leaking around it and I need to identify it / figure out where to source one so it can be replaced while the motor is out of my sister's car. I know it's not a very good pic, but it is located on the rear of the short block under the flex plate. Thanks in advance! http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d35/maxitech/8F7139B3-211E-4276-A6AB-BDA87453D52F-10660-00000CE2D97C038B.jpg

boxerbenny
you need the bolts also Flex plate bolts or cover bolts? If for the cover, are they not reuseable? If for the flex plate, are they torque-to-yield?
boxerbenny
Does this piece have an integrated seal that has gone bad, and the cover needs replacing? Or can I just pull the cover off, reseal it, and install it with new bolts?

BAC5.2
You seal this with FujiBond. Grab a tube when you buy the new plate.
