Serious question: why is everyone giving up on legacys?

would love to see a turbo factory option but if I have to I'll work it out on my own.

The XV is cool and all, but really? You are willing to spend thousands of dollars on a brand new car to make marginally more power than it already does? Or spend several thousand more doing a swap that no one in their right would ever consider? That sounds like a terrible waste of money.

You can buy a 274hp AWD Kia Sportage, you know.

Still bad. Google Defcon 1 if you want to get the fed's attention.

That's a fair point, but I should clarify... I'd wait for one to come up decent used and then go for it.

My XT still has a few good years left before I have to put that plan to the test. I might need something different by then anyway, so who knows.

Besides, sportage makes my eyes burn, new escape does nothing for me either.

if this:

ends up in the US, I will seriously consider it. I find it hard to believe that some variant of the 2L DI turbo wouldnt end up here, especially with the gas mileage achieved by the 3.6L.

Carrot on fishing line, is the first thing that comes to mind when reading that..... It would be nice if it had a chance...

This doesn't look that bad to me. But to make it look good you will need to spend lots off cash. Whats the point of making a car look fast if it's slow?

expensive?

Cut your springs and rattle can it flat black.

When my car explodes I would consider used Golf R, 335xi, or maybe Ford Fusion with Ecoboost and AWD, although all are pricey and latter has no MT. I'm sill looking for at least 120k on mine, which might take up to 7 more years.... :-)
