I grew up in Montrose...drove back that way for a vacation a few years back, and the thin air robbed my car of its performance. I was driving a crappy Dodge Stratus at the time, true, but I forgot how the altitude affects engine performance. Sea level is the way to go! I had thought about going to school at Fort Lewis, but joined the military instead, which brought me to Florida. I missed the mountains for a bit, then discovered the beach. I had a fully built race-engine integra that I took to school with me last year and the thin air easily robbed my car of atleast a full second in the 1/4. I miss the beach.
