cybaster
Hi everyone, long story short, i did all the following things at once: - install new coilovers - changed rotors/brake pads - installed new front axles (replaced broken CV boot) so I was driving home from my brother's garage (about a 2 minute drive) and I hear some mild rubbing noise (that increases with speed) Is that an issue with bedding the new brakes? Or more importantly are there anything that may cause this rubbing noise, i don't want to start the bedding process before I can make sure i don't f* things up. cybaster
so just to confirm having not bedded the pads and rotor shouldn't make that horrible sound then?
cybaster
Thanks for the info, I've bent back the dust shields, and so far it seems to be more or less silent. I also think the sound may be partly due to the new brakes.
xero287
Did you reset your parking brake correctly? It could be dragging.
