bmglaude
2006 LGT: I'm leaking oil from the gasket between my VF52 turbo and IPR TMC, anyone have a recommendation for a proper fitting gasket? I'm not sure which one the mechanic put in.
dingbang
Umm, correct me if I'm wrong, but you shouldn't be blowing that much oil by if you're talking about the actual turbo-TMIC flange connection. Like how much oil are we talking about? I've cut my own using gasket paper with no issues.
bmglaude
Sorry, the intercooler is an IPR!. I'm not blowing lots of oil; however, I'm noticing oil around the area and top of turbo.
Max Capacity
Damn, I think there was a thread here last year where somebody found something at a auto parts store that was the same size as the white plastic one that comes with the IPR. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Max Capacity
Just found this in another thread, posted by "m sprank" A Chevy 350 water neck gasket (Mr Gasket makes a aluminum and silicone one) work as well. But they space it up about 1/4" too. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
