PapaGeno21
Ok so I have been doing tons of reading about how you need the Double DIN setup etc for the aftermarket head unit. What about... http://www.crutchfield.com/S-mjeP4eSESXC/p_142SU2025B/Subaru-In-dash-Receiver-Kit.html The thing with that, the car I am about to buy has the Auto HVAC controls. Can I swap in the manual controls from another car and run that setup? I don't personally care about auto AC I would rather have a better headunit without spending 350 on a Double DIN kit. Thanks! AkumaMax
It's not worth the time and Effort. You would need to replace everything that has to do with the AC/heater unit. Well over $1000 to do. Cheaper to go the JDM Din route.
DoctorLGT
not worth attempting. Go the JDM Din route. You'll be happy.
lieutenantcolumbo
Possible, but not for the faint of heart: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/oauto-ac-manual-ac-swap-vid-162668.html
