taylormac1993
I recently rebuilt my EJ25D due to the HGs being bad. After I was finished and started it up, a code P0443 showed up. I tried letting the car equalize and drive it for a while, then erased the code. I also tried replacing the gas cap and erasing the code. But it couldn't be that easy... It keeps coming back. Any ideas on what this might mean? There's some kind of $200 fuel filter module that I could replace, but I don't have more than $1 to work with. I'm pretty sure all of my vac lines are good, but if there are a couple that get mixed up easily you guys should let me know. This is my first rebuild on a Subie engine and only my second rebuild ever.
DOHCEJ22E1
What does the code describe? Is it an EVAP code?
Baddog
Check for a blue clip under the intake manifold. There is an Evap connector under there. Check all your connections. Passenger side.

johnegg
''circuit'' usually indicates an electrical problem, wire or connector.

Passenger side. That did it! No more code, check engine light is off. Thanks! I can't believe I missed that clip...
