GreenGoblin
I'm having trouble removing the rear control arm closest to the back of the car. I was able to remove the long bolt that goes through the spindle but the bolt on the other end seem to be welded in place. I need to change this part because it got bent when the previous owner hit a curb.
GreenGoblin
I'm referring to the arm the rear sway bar attaches to. This is on a 1997 Legacy GT. Help guys, I need to get this car rolling ASAP!
GreenGoblin
Ok. I did a bit of searching. The bolt I'm working on removing is the rear toe adjustment bolt. I'm going to apply some PB Blaster and heat from a torch and see what happens, wish me luck. I'm still new to the Legacy. Most of my experience with the brand comes from the Impreza and Forester. I Donated broknindarkagain Posted September 1, 2012 I Donated Share Posted September 1, 2012 Most of your experience with Subarus comes from Imprezas and Foresters? The rear lateral links are the same on most Subarus.... Torch, PB blaster, and air tools if you can get them to fit. -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."
