I used to have a 1998 Audi A4. V6, 190hp, 207 lb-ft of torque. It was electronically limited to 130mph. If it weren't limited, I'm pretty sure it could go faster, but I'm not sure if the tires would have been able to handle it (previous owner had like three different brands of tires on the car, each worn differently, one slowly lost 5psi over a couple days but never more, and another tire was near the legal limit for thread depth). I once took it to 125mph with four others in the car.

I didn't get caught, but looking back, that was a stupid thing to do.

lol. Given enough straight line, there are a LOT of 190HP cars that can do 150MPH+.

Think 90's Mazda 929, MB E-Class, etc.

Not the brightest move as I was a stupid teen, but when I was 17/18 I managed to get my 92 Saturn SL2 fairly close to that.

It was downhill, but close to that speed nonetheless.

So yeah, people can kill themselves with anything.

Dropped it to 99... show me a ticket you drove away from of 144 in a 65 and ill believe it.

I got caught doing 153 in a 55. Cop let me off with a verbal warning just because i stopped for him. I was in a 190hp car, also 17 and ******* stupid.

lol it was like 6 years ago. Y would i have the ticket? I was 17 as well.
