harrumphicus
I just put on my H&R springs, so if anyone here wants my stockers I'm offering them for free to anyone who wants to pick them up in San Diego. Otherwise they're going up for sale in the classifieds and/or Craigslist for 50 bucks or something. Came off my 98 SUS with 165k miles. I'll post a couple pictures later, but they're in pretty good shape, methinks.
JFB
So what did you do to it when you swapped out the springs? Straight swap or lowering or what?
harrumphicus
Put in H&R lowered springs. I tried to take some pictures of the stock springs, but the sun washed it out. They're losing a bit of paint, I'm really not sure if the quality is compromised or not.
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted August 19, 2012 I Donated Share Posted August 19, 2012 Are you willing to ship them if I pay the shipping (to phoenix)? I have a really bad habit of breaking springs on my car when I off road, so backups would be nice to have lol -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." I Donated broknindarkagain Posted August 19, 2012 I Donated Share Posted August 19, 2012 Yes, I am the spring killer.... This is what I do to my springs I took these pics about 3 weeks ago. This particular spring was broken spring # 4 for me in the past 6 months. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/broknindarkagain/96%20Outback/5fb6bbd4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/broknindarkagain/96%20Outback/2b07f68b.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v287/broknindarkagain/96%20Outback/4f1c0f8f.jpg -broknindarkagain My Current Project - Click Here COME AND TAKE IT "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." harrumphicus
Also, the picture wasn't as washed out as I originally thought - and they definitely look like they're in better shape than your broken ones regarding surface quality. http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b62/joelhike/IMAG0363.jpg BAM!
