I have read about a possible throw bearing issue....GRRRR starting to get frustrated, but I will stick with it. Anyone have experience in this? Legacy Wagon Posted August 10, 2012 Share Posted August 10, 2012 You can find a good throwout bearing/ clutch/pressure plate/pilot bearing combo from Exedy for around $165. That may or may not be the problem, though. Either way, if you do decide to change those out you should get new throwout bearing clips from Subaru while you're at it. And the one for the clutch fork.
