I Donated thefultonhow Posted July 29, 2012 I Donated Share Posted July 29, 2012 So the only real difference between the stock sedan exhaust and the stock wagon exhaust is the length of the tips. The wagon ones are longer. Now that that's out of the way, I bought mufflers today so I could take off the cheap aftermarket exhaust that the PO defiled my new Spec.B with. They're wagon mufflers -- I got them because they were cheap, convenient, and in super good shape. I was going to put them on the 05 and put my sedan mufflers on the Spec.B, but I did a test fit and am wondering if they might actually look better on the sedan than the stock sedan mufflers. Opinions? Here are some pictures for comparison (sorry for the crappy quality; my garage isn't very well-lit at night): http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/thefultonhow/Subaru/IMG_20120728_212246.jpghttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/thefultonhow/Subaru/IMG_20120728_212256.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/thefultonhow/Subaru/IMG_20120728_212123.jpghttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/thefultonhow/Subaru/IMG_20120728_212146.jpg http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/thefultonhow/Subaru/IMG_20120728_212224.jpghttp://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a325/thefultonhow/Subaru/IMG_20120728_212108.jpg

Max Capacity
My Spec B has no mufflers...try it you might like it. Here or the muffler deletes when they are on the wagon. http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x40/92Si/DSCN4158.jpg Here they are on the spec, after I had them shortened. http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x40/92Si/DSCN4595.jpg The wagon has the stock mufflers back on it, because it was to loud when I went catless. Here's the wagon with them on a couple years back. http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x40/92Si/DSCN4159.jpg 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Fisch
I think the long tips have a pretty clean look, tbh
I Donated thefultonhow Posted July 29, 2012 Author I Donated Share Posted July 29, 2012 My Spec B has no mufflers...try it you might like it. Not happening. I'm taking the exhaust system that's currently on the Spec.B off partially because it's too loud for my tastes on the highway.

Really, My spec has stock exhaust with the muffler deletes and just has a nice low rumble on the highway. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
