subaruguy509
I am having a hard time finding where the fuel injectors are, and am also trying to find out how many there are. I am new to this particular part. Anyone maybe have a picture or two? Thank you!!
Legacy Wagon
If you look on the spider-like intake manifold and follow the legs down you'll see the fuel rail. It should have stickers on them say R and L and they'll have plugs connected to red connectors. Those are your fuel injectors. I'll see if I can find a picture. There's four of them, by the way. You can see the red connector on this one. Kinda faded though. http://i56.tinypic.com/2i1ldfl.jpg
subaruguy509
Thank you very much. I figured there were 4, but wasn't sure since it is 16 valve instead of the customary 8 valve 4 cyl engine. =)
Legacy Wagon
De nada, dude. What are your plans for it?
subaruguy509
Right now working on everything mechanical to make sure it runs smooth. It runs smooth now, but not as smooth as I want. Then, it's time for cosmetic. Thinking of painting it a nice metallic blue. Definetly getting black rims.
Legacy Wagon
Sweeeet Are you pulling the engine and going through seals and stuff, or just doing what you can get to?

It has a little bit of blue too. It would be sweet to see a first gen in this color.
subaruguy509
Well I would love to, but mine is silver now. How about a nice deep metallic maroon?
