Tehnation Posted July 25, 2012 Share Posted July 25, 2012 Every time I start my car my stereo starts to make thud, very sharp and deep, noises and my auto climate control screen goes crazy, after like 10 seconds it stops and everything works EXCEPT the cd player!?!? mightyS Posted September 14, 2015 Share Posted September 14, 2015 This is an old thread, but my car CD player is doing this too. It is a 2005 with the 6 CD changer. It will play a CD for 3 to 30 minutes. Then I will hear a thud and my auto climate control screen goes crazy. The CD quits playing. I just turn it off and it resets. Everything else works. gmartinez1900 Posted October 7, 2015 Share Posted October 7, 2015 Sounds like your harness needs to be investigated, pull out the radio and check you HVAC harness as well see if it just needs some wiring tape or possible harness replacement.
