jay-d
Looking at Whiteline's website, it looks like the BP (Wagon) and BL (Sedan) use the same front and rear sway bars.. is this true? Reason is, I found a local guy who's selling Progressive Technology sway bars (as well as springs, but I believe those will be completely different) for pretty cheap! The Progressive Technology's website says the sway bars exclude wagons, but if Whiteline's sways work for both.. I'm hoping they'll fit. Anyone have any evidence of the differences, if there are any? http://www.progressauto.com/products/searchType/vehicleSearch/year/2005/make/Subaru/model/Legacy%20GT/productID/561 http://www.whiteline.com.au/do_segue4.php?make=SUBARU&model=Legacy&model_final=LEGACY+BL+SEDAN%2C+BP+WAGON+MY04-09+INCL+TURBO&vehicle=9%2F03-8%2F09
SGT Daddy
I have the Whiteline's on my wagon '05 and love them. There are a few other things as well that round out the set-up.
Moderators BarManBean Posted July 18, 2012 Moderators Share Posted July 18, 2012 Don't buy the progressive sways--they seem to be very hit or miss on fitment. YMMV. Dujo
There's also a spacer set you can get that will realign the geometry just a bit if necessary. They are basically just 4 thick washers. I've seen people say they are unnecessary and others say they're a requirement. YMMV. Enjoy!
