That is some heavy cutting on the bumper!!! How is it doing ? Did you reinforce the middle lower part?

I like it :)

Sorry for getting back to you late... It sure is lol. Car is doing good going to be installing the the misimoto radiator, upper and lower misimoto radiator hoses and a new Tranny cooler that is better than the one I currently run. The middle lower part is reinforced but needs a little more than it is currently.

So from what I have been told by a few is that since I run E85, after every 3 or 4 fill ups I should run 93 octane to clean everything out... That being said I did so and boy does that and the cold weather **** with my Tune. Took a Video today of me Reving it and it sounds like a 2 Step sorta...

No no no and no. Your tuned for e85 you can't switch unless you swap tunes. E85 burns cleaner than 93. Talk to Dave (cyro) about what you should do. I would swap tunes to a 93 map pronto.

I am open sourced tuned there is no swapping tunes and Dave is not my tuner so I wouldn't talk to him about it. The people that told me to run 93 I think were also under the impression that I could swap tunes and is why they said what they said. I have been hearing now some bad things from people and am going to switch back to E85 pronto. Thanks for looking out bro...

I'm open source tuned as well but I can switch because i have a Tactrix cable and the different tunes on my lap top. So you can definitely do it just need the Tactrix cable, romraider, and ecu flash I believe. Even though he isn't your tuner he would be more than happy to answer any questions and give you specific reasons why not to do that without switching tunes like the difference in timing needed for each fuel etc.

Yeah.... it's best to not run 93oct on an E85 tune. That's why most people who want to run dual fuels get tuned via an AP, or keep their laptop and cable on them at all times. I'd drain the tank then fill with E85, and preferably not drive it till that's done.

Yea I just told my mechanic Whitey who does all my work and he said yea not to run the fuel anymore and go right back to E85. I think I will have him drain it or just drive it slow to burn it all and then fill her up with some E85. Right now got her on the lift and am going to pull the tranny and try to figure out the problem with it and if I have to mod the tranny and build it again at least this time I will have it done right... I'm in no rush though as I still got time to get the Tune before race season starts up...

Yea doesn't appear to be lol. The trouble is I need to figure out the truth and the lies. I was told everything was done to my tranny soup to nuts and it hasn't felt that way from day 1 really. That being said I'm going to have my Mechanic Whitey do a 3k torque converter, F1 Hex mods Valve body, redo tranny with master kit, fluids, tranny filter ect...

Yes so far I have found that they definitely lied about the Torque converter telling me it was a 3,300k, meanwhile it's a 2,500k and the hub was broken. Ordered a new hub and it will be here Monday. The 3k Torque converter should be done by Tuesday hopefully...

 

Decided to do a custom 1piece Drive shaft and contemplating on changing the gears to 4.11 gear ratio. I already have a R160 4.11rear diff that I picked up over a year ago. Could pick up two rear axles and then I think that should do it correct me if I'm wrong?

 

Got the Hexmods Valve body in the mail Friday. Will be updating as progress gets made or when it's finished. Going to ask Dave to let me know if the Valve body I send him is stock or modified to see if I was lied to about that as well...

3K Torque Converter came in today Woooo! Bad news was I had to buy 11 qts of Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF at $10 each FML!

Tranny is in and putting the bumper and wheels back on today and should be test driving it soon. Got some pics of the Custom 1 piece Aluminum Drive Shaft. Have to get the gas out and put more E85 in. Have to get some fittings to do the oil pressure gauge and probably going to drain all the brake fluid when I do the Rear SS brake lines and go with Dot4 fluid. When all this is done any I put some miles on the car it's tune time :)
