Lower Grille

Recommended Posts

Can someone direct me to a vendor for a lower grille to fill the opening in from of the radiator and AC condenser? Looking for a durable, attractive black mesh that will last and be easy to clean. I would also like one that I can preferable install myself.

If anyone has installed pictures and a DYI step by step with pics I woujld apprecaite a link.

Thanks,

Grillcraft is the only one I have seen so far. Great reputation and quality. that link is for the Grillecraft but here is there site. You can read about the product more and download the install instructions for an idea on how to.

GrilleCraft looks nice, but it seems ridiculously expensive for $10.00 worth of material and probably 10 minutes of manufacturing work.

Current Mileage as of 19-June-15: 15012

Purchase Date: 30-June-12

How did you attach this to the bumper?

Wire ties and these... [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Adhesive-Cable-Holder-Black-Pack/dp/B003ZB2A0E]Amazon.com: 1" x 1" Adhesive Cable Tie Holder, Black, 100/Pack: Home Improvement[/ame]

Bought the lower Grillcraft grill from TTG about a year ago, finally got a chance to install it this weekend. What a pain, if I ever do it again the front bumper is definitely coming off!

However, it is a quality piece and I think it finishes off the front of the car nicely as it matches the OEM grill and fog light trim plate.

You can get these separate or as a combo. I really like the shape of the mesh and the spot where the badge sits but I hate the chrome. It would look great dipped or powder-coated in black

Interesting find, like you said I don't care for the chrome or the thick boarder either.

Bringing this back.. Has anyone found anything recently (past 2 years) that would work on 5th generation besides the grillcraft?

I am not having any luck finding one for my 2014

As far as I know, no one ever made any aftermarket grilles for the 13-14 facelift cars.
