SomethingWittyAsAUsername Posted June 22, 2012 Share Posted June 22, 2012 I get noise from one of my front wheels when I stop. Here's the thing though. It only happens when A) The brakes are cool, like when I first start off and B) When I slowly stop from around 15mph or less. The sound is hard to explain. Imagine what it would sound like if the pads and rotors were made of rock rather than steel. Otherwise, braking is normal. Very little shakes when stopping, no noises, and no decreased brake performance. What could this possibly be? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Take a look at my guide in the DIY thread at the top of the forum. You could just try cleaning the rotors themselves.. and check the pads themselves, maybe need to be replaced..you might be hearing the metal clips that rub when the pads need to be change.
