I get noise from one of my front wheels when I stop. Here's the thing though. It only happens when

A) The brakes are cool, like when I first start off

and

B) When I slowly stop from around 15mph or less.

The sound is hard to explain. Imagine what it would sound like if the pads and rotors were made of rock rather than steel.

Otherwise, braking is normal. Very little shakes when stopping, no noises, and no decreased brake performance.

What could this possibly be?

Could be lots of things.

Most likely its poor quality brake pads.

You could also try lubing the brakes. Take a look at my guide in the DIY thread at the top of the forum. The front brake guide shows all the spots to lube.

What brok said. You could just try cleaning the rotors themselves.. and check the pads themselves, maybe need to be replaced..you might be hearing the metal clips that rub when the pads need to be change.
