nike06gt
I am rebuilding my engine and I am keeping my stock dual mass flywheel. I really do not feel like buying a new one. The machine shop that i took it to has never resurfaced that type of flywheel. he was wondering if he can take it apart since it seems to be spring operated. If anyone has any insight please let me know soon as possible.
Max Capacity
Anything is possible. I would not do it. Just do what everyone does and buy the single mass FW. Talk with m sprank or Mike at AZPinstalls.com or one of the vendors on here like JSCspeed, Fredbeans, etc check the vendor link at the top of the forums. What clutch did you buy ? I just installed a Spec 2 when doing my rebuild. You should also get the TSK3 kit too. compsurge
Don't mean to sound harsh, but don't cheap out on the flywheel. It will go bad. It is a consumable with the clutch and not meant for reuse.
