turbodog
Cool, thanks!! Let us know how it goes. I've got a 20-ton press that needs to be put to good use. Looks like they also have other rear end parts, but they don't have the W63396 upper inner rear: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=W63394 http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=W63395 http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=W63397
turbodog
Pricing on the W63397 is absurd considering the KCA399 is about $45.
OutbackXT05
Ya but its quite a big bushing. Honestly though compared to what energy suspension sells for it is way over priced. But these whitelines are 20 bucks more shipped than oem
OutbackXT05
Well heres what the bushing looks like. I didnt have too bad of a time taking everything apart. I only broke 1 bolt YAY!! http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt307/fibtlcivic/wl1.jpg http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/tt307/fibtlcivic/wl2.jpg

Pricinng on everything else looks good including your bushings.

OutbackXT05
Wasnt able to press them out with my vice. Couldnt find anything to press it with. I just folded the metal from the bushing in after i hit the runner out (wasnt even connected anymore) then hammered the metal out no issues. A large c-clamp will not work.......the only way to press them out is on a large hydraulic press with proper cups. 20-ton from harbor freight with coupon - $149. Sounds like cutting them out worked. OutbackXT05
Got it all in last night and since my outback is way lower than oem height i loosened all my suspension bolts, put the car on the ground, then tightened the bolts back up and the car rides so much better now. It was a pretty long process to do the trailing arm bushing and id say the most annoying part is the taking the e-brake assembly off. One of my springs broke so i had to unwind some if the spring and make a new hook so itd go back in.
OutbackXT05
Oh and once the old bushings are out the new ones go in like butter. Super easy to slide in.

xt2005bonbon
Gonna bump my old thread ... Question I should have asked when I created this thread: assuming bushing #13 circled below is shot, what would be the symptoms when driving? Mine is shot btw. This is what I am experiencing right now: when either the right or left rear tire hit a pot hole or the like, the rear end wants to steer a bit to the left or right, like fishtailing. Very annoying . Would this be the reason why? FYI, -front LCA bushings are new -front swaybar bushings are also new (whitelines) -front endlinks and swaybar are still stock -front shocks are still stock but in good shape (70k) -rear swaybar bushings are whitelines and still in good shape -AVO rear endlinks -rear KYB 00-04 struts installed with rallitek overload springs -AVO reinforced swaybar brackets http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=119068&d=1338418963
