Upgraded Reverse Light Bulbs

I installed a pair of upgraded 1156 bulbs this evening with the hope of better visibility while reversing. They are brighter than regular. Although I wasn't blown away by the difference, it still is an upgrade. The box said 35 watt. http://store.candlepower.com/796upgradebulb.html

 

Here are some before and after photos. They were taken on a mulch surface. It was the only dark place I could find around me.
