gershon Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 I have a 2005 OB AT 2.5. It was rebuilt and I have found that some parts like the rear breaks are from a Legacy and not an OB. How can I tell if the engine and trans are an OB or Legacy? Unfortunately the trans sticker codes are gone. I am pulling my hair out here. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Max Capacity Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 Gee, I'll go out on a limb here, and say they are the same car, the main difference is the spacers in the chassis to make the OB sit higher. So yes, most common things are the same on both cars. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
