gnessel
What is the major difference here? The headers and the cat backs are the same, so the inlet bell housing and the outlet to the rest of the exhaust are in the same place. What would I run into if I buy a DP for an auto and I have a 5SPD???

trackhore
An auto DP will technically fit a 5spd car, but the trans mounting tab won't line up, which supports a good portion of weight, and a small hammer will be needed if I remember correctly. apexjapan
The main issue is that it won't match up to the bracket. And what that means is that your downpipe and middle section will be hanging off the turbo flange and one hanger way back near the Y-pipe. It'll put additional stress on the flange to the mid-pipe, and turbo to downpipe flange.
