The dealer says the job will cost $1700.00+ and the extended warranty people say they won't cover leaking head gaskets until the fluids leak onto the the floor. Any suggestions? If the motor blows, then it's their fault for waiting and hopefully the warranty covers it. Sounds to me like the dealer wants to skimp out on their warranty.
