sti_044
Hey guys, I picked this up for myself last weekend from Lynwood, WA. I've had 5 first gen legacies, 3 of them being pretty heavily modified Sport Sedans. http://i50.tinypic.com/29djvav.jpg http://i45.tinypic.com/11rtd3p.jpg Its a 99 Legacy GT Wagon, 132k miles. It's an auto but oh well. It's fully loaded, heated leather seats, sun/moon roof, spoiler, etc. It has 6 pages of maint. records from Chaplin's Subaru from 24k miles. head gaskets, timing belt, etc. all look brand new, CVs look new etc. I am VERY happy with the car. I paid 5200 for it and it KBBs for 7k. Main reason I wanted to buy a "newer car" is because I need to establish credit for a house so once I saw this I couldn't pass it up. Kinda scarey buying from a used car dealership because they obviously just want to make as much money as possible off of every car with little invested, but this was a damn good find. Just thought I'd share with the legacy family. All I've done so far is a K&N filter and snorkus delete. Plans are Borla replica header and catback (not sure which brand yet), coilovers, my Tommy Kaira wheels, HID's, Morrette headlights if I can find them, and then try to find a wrecked STi for the swap once it's paid off. 98LGTLover
Hey it's a local! Congrats on the car! It looks really nice. Having the head gaskets and timing belt done already are a huge selling point on these lower mileage 2nd gens.
monkeyposeur
Nice GT! You gotta love the sport sedans, too! I just picked up a stock SS recently and rebuilt the engine, keeping it stock for now. There is a guy, JacWagon, on here who might be selling his morettes soon.
