protivakid
Hello, I had both front axles replaced on my 2001 legacy by a local shop. Everything seems ok but when I hit the gas the car seems to rumble slightly more. Its not a big rumble but after driving my legacy for many years does feel different. I don't hear any new sounds though. Is this normal or should I take it back to the shop? I am not sure if the car has always been this way but the old axle was so bad I never noticed, or if there is an issue with the new axle.
protivakid
Come to think of it the car seems to rumble more even when stopped. I was reading for the axle replacement that one person said he had to unbolt his motor mounts. Do you think perhaps mine loosened over time and that shop tightened them when putting things back together, which would now cause more vibration?
