Subieaction
:Noob: So i have a 05.5 LGT. I go to look under the passenger side to connect the green wire but it is already connected to the other one. There is only one other green plug but that is already plugged in. So can I just skip this step? Thanks Chris
bmx045
yes. all you need to do is make sure both sets of plugs are connected to flash the ecu. some people leave 1 set connected just so they dont have to get under there the next time
Subieaction
Okay, Yah. When I went under everything was already done. Could it already have been flashed? Or is this a common thing for the plugs already to be done? Thanks for the response.
bmx045
the dealer uses the plugs if they need to flash too, so they could have updated the ecu at some point in time
Subieaction
yah, so I did it. And everything went well. But I know I need to log to make sure my engine is not knocking. But the next legal test and tune at my local track is on next saturday should I unistall my stage one or just stay out of boost until then? I would also just like to say it is like night and day, I can't wait to get my TBE, and see what she can really do.
Moderators BarManBean Posted April 7, 2012 Moderators Share Posted April 7, 2012 Just drive it, you'll be fine. Take the time now to make sure you're logging the right stuff and everything works. iNVAR
Err, I don't remember seeing two sets of green connectors down there... just one set. And they're NOT supposed to be plugged in while driving... ONLY during flashing. Hrm.
bmx045
you can keep 1 set plugged in and drive, it wont hurt anything.
