Mud flaps

Recommended Posts

This will only kind of help. It's green, but it's two-tone AND it's an Outback... but it's better than nothing I suppose:

They look a bit funky in the second photo, but I promise in person they look good.

I am thinking about just getting the universal rally armor ones, and then figure out a clever way to mount them. Eventually I am going to lower my car, any suggestions on how high off the road the flaps should be mounted?

Do what I did. Look at your car and picture mud and rocks and crap slinging off your tires. You should be able to get a pretty good idea of where they should sit to block stuff from hitting the body. Then you just have to decide if it looks right. I wanted mine to be functional, and after eyeballing it that way, it seemed the right height anyway.

I HATED the stock mud flaps. Most retarded piece of engineering EVER (and that goes for all stock mud flaps on all vehicles.) I ordered the overpriced RallyArmor flaps in a fit of rage after the stock flaps pissed me off for the last time.
