Toallhisdoom
98 legacy gt limited sedan. ej25 So part of my exhaust broke the other day so going to be re doing it. I cant remember but the last time i was under there i believe i only saw a pre cat o2 sensor. So from my experience this means i can remove the cat without throwing a CEL? Anyone know if there is a post cat sensor i missed? Also if i get the 2.5 rs raceland coil overs, is there anything else i need to install? Will the drop from installing these cause any allignment issues that i will need to buy another kit for? Thanks guy!
subikid90
Yes there is a post cat O2 sensor. You can use a spark plug fouler to space the O2 sensor out tho. You will most likely need camber bolts for the coilovers. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap

.blackgt.
I have never heard of a fouler doing the job, just the resistor mod for the up in our 05+ models. pm coming your way bmx
.blackgt.
Just for reference, its called a "spark plug non-fouler." Still not sure about it, but will be looking into it more. Thanks for the link.
subikid90
Yes it is a spark plug non-fouler lol I have used them before and passed emissions. Sometimes you might have to use 2 of them it all depends on the car. -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
I Donated broknindarkagain Posted March 14, 2012 I Donated Share Posted March 14, 2012 Every OBDII car (96 and newer) has an o2 sensor before the cats and after.
