scoobyscoodle
Yes, you need the reinforcement brackets that bolt to the trailing arm brackets. They are not in that diagram. They are the "J" shaped brackets that connect the rear subframe to the trailing arm brackets. The LGT ones are "flatter" due to the subframe being closer to the chassis. Could someone please find the part number for me because I can't find it. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/info-ob-gt-suspension-geometry-removing-spacer-180579.html I spend a good bit of time there too. Are you talking about number 10-11 in the fallowing picture? If so this part is the same from OB to GT. Its the trailing arm bracket that as lower mounting for the ''J'' arm to get it closer to the frame. http://static.opposedforces.com/epc_img/366495120106.png
scoobyscoodle
Yes that's the part. I could be wrong but I swore I changed that part out.

All I am trying to do is remove the subframe spacers and I need everything that is required to do that. So far this is what I am purchasing, is this correct and if not what do I need/not need: 901000304 <=== Flange Bolts for subframe. Need Four. $3.75 each 20540AE090 <== Rear Lower Trailing Arm Bracket Left Side. $20.89 20540AE080 <== Rear Lower Trailing Arm Bracket Right Side: $20.
scoobyscoodle
If you don't need the brackets I was talking about, then yes, you have everything.
JDMg3
You are missing: -20176AE01A - washer that goes between front subframe and frame where OB spacers use to be.(not sur if you really need it) -20250AE02A-20250AE04A Upper control arms are different (you can probably keep yours. I will compare the two when I receive the GT ones next week) -20501AE00A Rear GT bump stops.( Or simply cut yours or remove them) Now, if you have NUMBER 5 in the fallowing picture on your car and you are also using RSB reinforcement bracket (AVO), NUMBER 5 will have to be removed or RSB AVO brackets will need to be modified. Or simply use the GT one 20157AG00A! http://static.opposedforces.com/epc_img/366495120101.png
Sublimejoe
Awesome, thank you so much! I already have GT bump stops so that saves me a few bucks. Could I hold off on replacing the upper control arms and remove the spacers now or will that not work? The price on the upper control arms is $77 each, is there an aftermarket option for them that would cost less than $154?
scoobyscoodle
You do not need new upper arms. They are the same length only thicker to allow them to hit the OB stops. The washers where the spacers are are also unneeded.

JDMg3
Don't suppose you guys could throw up a pic of all these spacers and bolts you are referring too. This thread has gotten me curious as my non centered rear wheels annoy the crap out of me. Thanks Go see: http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/info-ob-gt-suspension-geometry-removing-spacer-180579.html
Scooby2.5
I am about to pull the trigger on some coilovers for my car. My question is, do I order Legacy coilovers or Outback specific ones? My gut instinct tells me to buy Legacy ones because my car is already on Legacy suspension, but can someone just give me a touch of a push? It seems to me that if I put Legacy specific coilovers on I would be able to go lower than I would with Outback ones. Sublime You have seen my outback obviously and I have the Outback specific BC/BR coilovers. So they are the same as the LGT but have longer cartridges. When I lowered my car for the STI Enkei wheels and the 245x45x18 inch tires my cartridges were pretty much bottomed out in the bottom part of the coil over that bolts to the spindle. As low as you are I would get the legacy GT cartridges. With that being said, I am currently taking the spacers out like JDMg3 did in his thread. If I take the spacers out I should be able to raise my car about an inch or so to give me more breathing room on the coil over cartridges.

Would you all consider it necessary for a Legacy setup on a OBXT? Thanks.
