kmoleg05
I read conflicting statements about running 2 cans. Some say 2, but other have had success with one. I will hook up separate and check tomorrow. Why is it that a 09 wrx owner can have the same set up as me with no issues but i have smoke?? Just a question i hope someone can bring to light to. Thanks for the prompt response iNVAR!
iNVAR
Well, here's the thread: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/2-5-liter-litre-factory-motor/146699-official-sti-engine-venting-o-separators-catch-cans-thread.html Take from it what you will. Notice the flow diagram and how the valve flow reverses in boost.
JmP6889928
I thought only computers and ECM's had the magic smoke inside? I know that if the magic smoke comes out, there are real problems.
kmoleg05
Well got tied up in the GIANT, thread. Wow, so my understanding is run Crank case vent to one can (with atmosperic vent), then valve cover vent hose to another can (again atmosheric vent)? Do i need one way valves like pictured on the first page of that link??
