Pavoni8297
I am going to refinish my OEM Spec b wheels. I would like to go gunmetal or something a bit darker. I am not sure of I should powder coat or paint and clear coat. what is the stock paint code for the WRX gunmetal?

Pavoni8297
you think its worth the difference? I mean a nice baked finish with a clear? its like 150 a wheel for powder...
underground000
look around I never prepped my rattle can paint job wheel and the paint flaked/chipped I got a special color (has flake) 2 coats of color and 1 clear including acid stripping each wheel. $75/each excluding dismounting and mounting/balance the tires ($40 total for this) 5eat downshift rev match:) Powder coated wheels: completed:)
s2baru
I think 150 per wheel is a bit too much, id ask around. Personally my buddies benz did flat balck powder coat and it was 90 per wheel, and his truck on 22s was 115 a wheel. Its totally worth it compared to standard paint, and you can get tue place to just about do any color.
mk6933
You can get decent powercoaters here in SoCal to do the all 4 rims for 200-250, including sandblasting. Cheapest place was 160 for 4 rims.
underground000
sandblasting did not work on my oem wheels since they were aluminum 5eat downshift rev match:) Powder coated wheels: completed:)
