Triple blink turn signals

Recommended Posts

Hey Scott, I'd like to install one on my tow vehicle, '12 Nissan Armada. Any idea if it will work, and if so, how to wire it up? PM if you'd like.

Thanks for still making these cool devices

Hey, you're welcome!

I've added Ford and Mazda for select cars (e.g. Miata!) and they have a different flasher than Subarus... but no plan for Nissan replacement flasher at the moment. Acura is bubbling up..

I've worked with people to install TapTurn in cars it wasn't meant for, by wire cutting and splicing. 1987 DeLorean !? Yup. A car like that just needs all the tech features it can get.

Most recently, put a TapTap in a 3-pin flasher car.

It all starts with: send me a schematic of what the turn signal and hazard flasher circuit looks like for the car. Make sure it shows the signal stalk, the hazard switch, the flasher unit, and all signal lights on the schematic/s. Then we go from there. I've sent out units with long wires coming out of TapTurn instead of the regular pins, to make it easier to wire up. You need skills to hack in a flasher this way... for some, it's worth it.
