DrD123 Posted May 16, 2014 Author Share Posted May 16, 2014 Yup - you'd need to make a square hole in the roof for the antenna to fit in. The bottom of the antenna has a threaded portion that you thread a nut onto to hold it in place (the nut has a floating washer attached to it that locates the cable coming out of the antenna - see the pic below) - the hole is square to align the antenna (and then an o-ring seals to the hole, then there are ridges in the gasket that further seal to the roof so it doesn't leak) If you don't have it on your car, I wouldn't bother (if you are adding XM, just use one of the internal antennas) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
