BadTouch
I was driving my car last night and noticed a tiny rattle when I would shift down. Now today it is really bad! Even at an idle it will knock. I haven't had a chance to look in the oil pan to check for shavings. (Kinda scared to) The oil level is good. One of the pulleys on the front of the motor has a slight wobble to it. I don't no enough about em yet to no what one it is. It idles good and doesn't miss out so idk wut to do! BadTouch
Its a lot louder than in that video and it does it all the time. I had my mechanic listen to it last night he said it sounds like a broken spring in the top end. Its more of a tick I gess. And real metallic. Mega Users paintpollz Posted February 6, 2012 Mega Users Share Posted February 6, 2012 Check your accessory belts and look for carnage. With the idler pully wobbling like that its most likely tearing up the belts. When the accessory belts are torn up, it will cause a rattle and vibration like you are talking about. This just happened to me. "Remember Danny - Two wrongs don't make a right but three rights make a left."
