PeteCool Posted January 30, 2012 Share Posted January 30, 2012 Thought VQ engines were pretty reliable Lots of the earlier ones will use up oil, just like an LGT The earlier ones being, 02-03 Maxima, 2002-2006(?) Altima, 1st gen G35... I got mine to 210000km (Got the 02 Maxima used at 83000km, 6MT), it was getting worse as time passed but it was eating oil from the start. Lots of Nissan fans will deny it though!
