stepinrazor
I got my car washed this weekend and driving back home the car pulled the following code: P2092 "OCV Solenoid Valve Signal 'A' Circuit Open (Bank 2). Is this serious, can I drive around until I have to time to look into this? Once I can get this checked where is this valve and what should I be looking for? Do I just replace it? Max Capacity
I'm guessing that yes this could be serious. That could be the OCV that feeds the turbo. There are guy's here that are much better at this then I. I believe you don't have a filter in the banjo fitting on the back of the passenger side head. Tell us your oil change intervals and what oil you use and mileage on the engine. I trust you did a web search for that code on this engine ? I did and found this. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/p2092-ocv-fault-code-avcs-94049.html?t=94049 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. stepinrazor
I ended up replacing the drivers side sensor and it fixed the problem
Max Capacity
OK yes, bank 2 is the even # cylinders. I still get that mixed up on these cars. Cylinders 1 & 3 are on bank 1, the passenger side. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
