Billy Dagwood
I did a quick search, and I'm pretty sure the Stoptech BBK fits under stock 05 LGT wheels. Please correct me if I'm wrong... But...does it fit under the donut?
xero287
^THATS A GREAT QUESTION, that no one probably ever considered.
scoobyscoodle
I think it should fit over the rear, so if you get a front flat you'd need two jacks
mattg
Only the 328x28 kit fits under stock wheels. Have no idea about the donut.
Billy Dagwood
Only the 328x28 kit fits under stock wheels. Have no idea about the donut. Oh, the 332x32 doesn't make it? Where did you source your set from?
jamal
in the stoptech catalog they list the 332x32 kit as fitting under the 17" bbs sti wheels. No mention of anything fitting under the LGT or 06+ WRX (which has similar wheels) though.
mr.hicksta
Oh, the 332x32 doesn't make it? Where did you source your set from? I got mine from Fred Beans Parts.
rapture
+1 for fredbeans....and really a donut? have u heard of AAA sir?
mr.hicksta
Oh and I would venture to say there's no WAY the front or rear caliper would fit under the donut . I run 5mm hub centric spacers on mine with 18x7.5 ProDrive GC010Es...
Drift Motion
I remember there is one type of BBK that fits under the stock wheels...but it might be the wilwood
ssbtech
IIRC the STi Brembos fit under the donut.
Billy Dagwood
infamous actually has the set a little cheaper than fred beans at the moment. As for the donut question...yes, I do have AAA, but still, it'd be a good thing to know, I think. I would want to know whether I would have to invest in a full-size spare. What got me thinking about all this was this post.
DRoc7822
From what I have searched... the 332x32 fits under the stock 17x7 wheels with at least a 7mm spacer. I currently have this kit with the 332x32 and it for sure doesnt fit without a spacer. I have an 8mm spacer but when I went to install.. I needed longer studs for the wheels to fit on the car. I recently got my studs in the mail so I should hopefully be putting everything on here soon. I can try the spare tire and report back. Prolly wont be till at the very least, Tues or Wed when I can do the install though.
rapture
yeah i wasn't trying to be a dick.... (guess i take for granted having a full size spare)even tho i drive around with neither in the trunk....
Billy Dagwood
no worries. I guess if I go the stoptech route, I'd just have to dump the stockers and put the snows onto something else and get a full-size spare to boot...if they don't fit under stockers, I can't imagine there's much hope for the donut.
