I like em. They are not garish and mesh with the general concensus of what the Legacy community finds appealing (understated but attractive). Reminds me of a lot of the wheels I like. Drag D31. Rotas.

I like those wheels - they look concave, are they? The offset listed is either RWD or FWD. How does that translate into "mm"?

Reminds me of Rota G-Forces: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3300032&postcount=55

Thanks.. and I'm really not sure.. :/ Idk much about wheels but if you're willing to elaborate and teach me a little Im very willing to listen and learn lol

i like them as long as you stick with the 17 or 18s. 19s would look like shit.

Im thinking maybe 18s.. NO bigger lol thats a promise.

Thanks for posting the pic for me :) I have to get a photobucket up and running..

And I was looking for Rotas today but the two places that deal in wheels and tires have never even heard of Rotas.. They looked at me like I was crazy lol. My brother and I like the Rota Torques in Gun metal. These are gonna cost me around $140-$145 each (17's)

The answers to your questions are in the links I posted when you were asking about wheels in your other thread. Read the links. Contact forum vendors instead of your usual guys for your sanity.

How you post linked "" pictures has nothing to do with photobucket but is really easy if you know how (and you can learn how in the new members read first thread). I understand how being new can seem overwhelming but its not going to stop being that way without some reading on your part. Please spend a day reading the forum stickies, particularly the one titled "NEW MEMBERS READ THIS FIRST". You will find your experience here to be much more complete if you do so.

I do like the wheels, but no intake. Just keep the stock airbox and maybe get the high flow filter :D imo

But you do as you please!

I agree on the high flow filter. The CAI is widely debated as being useful/useless on the 2.5i. Many will say that it can throw off the MAF sensor causing a lean condition. Others run it without any problems. The intake on the Subarus seems to be a very efficient design. If you are looking for more noise, you can remove the resonating chamber. If you are going for looks, then the CAI is your option. I understand where you are going though with the CAI. I had a 96 Civic and a 2001 Acura GS-R before I got my Legacy(s). Both of them were modded. The CAI was one of the first for both of them. However, everything I learned on the Honda/Acura product kind of got thrown out the window when I went with the Subaru.

There is no real good/fast/cheap way to make more power out of the 2.5i. You can make it sound better, brake better, and handle like its on rails. After that, the power adders are few and far between, or very expensive to the point you should look at getting a GT version. (steps off soapbox)

Like the wheel choice. I think it will look sharp.

Thanks I appreciate the input :) I was just trying to do the small things first and thats the easiest mod of them all. lol

Me personally, I highly recommend the tail light tint from zag300zx. I think it's worth every penny to get rid of the chrome look in the stock taillights.

As for getting some boxer rumble sound out of your 2.5 for just a few bucks, check out the hogzhaust thread.

Now as far removing the intake silencer box, I recommend against it. I've done it and didn't really hear much sound difference. All it did was drop my gas MPG by 2. and my butt dyno tells me that there was a performance drop.

Have to remember that the OPs car is a 2.5i. Doing the hogzhaust is not going to give the boxer rumble but more make it sound like an angry wasp. The 2.5i has and equal length header on it. The un-equal lenght header on the GT is what gives it the rumble.

I never lost any MPGs on my car when I pulled the silencer box. I thought the added sound made my car sound nicer too. To each there own! :)

If you still have the receipt, remove it, and take it back. The K&N is an oiled element and can cause problems with the MAF sensor with oil carryover and buildup.

Get an AVO dry cotton washable element instead. Flows the same as the K&N and doesn't require the oil.

Otherwise, I would plan on cleaning your MAF about once every 3-6 months. Be careful if you do clean it. If you wreck it, they are about the cost of 3 K&N filters.
