Adoniram
It's absolutely true that most vehicles don't need a change every 3,000 miles or 3 months--it's just a typical marketing campaign by many companies that provide oil change service. However, this is yet another example of an idiotic program funded by the broke state of California. I left California last year and haven't looked back for a moment. The state is beautiful and the local companies, museums and parks have much to offer, but the government is run by a bunch of morons. Nevermind record-breaking budget deficits, they start a campaign to drive down oil sales, drive down sales tax, and drive down business at companies that provide these services. What a great use of tax dollars... Perfect example of how the government there works... Yes, I'm a bit jaded, in case you were wondering.
