Second gen suspension swap to first gen?

Recommended Posts

I'm pretty sure the interior of my salvage SS wagon is black. I can take a look to make sure. The driver's side seat is kind of worn out, and it's missing the front passenger door card. You can have anything out of the interior if you want. It's just a ways from FL.

What year WRX seats? 05 was my favorite.

Dang. I'd love to have a spare interior. I have

a bunch of spare nonsense parts for my old 2.5RS

and a bunch of random Legacy parts, but nothing

interior-wise. All that stuff's garbage in the junk

yard. Man...I just drove through Utah about a month

and a half ago. Shame haha

If you go to bbs.LegacyCentral.org you can find images in the suspension section of cars with suspension swapped in from other Subarus.

IIRC, the WRX suspension goes in without issue and drops the car about 1/2 inch...likewise, the 2004 STI suspension goes in, again without issue, and drops the car about an inch.

I've considered, MANY times, buying a first gen Legacy as a project car so I've done a bit of research into it. LegacyCentral is a great resource for first gen car owners.

EDIT: Aww, if I'd read just a bit further I would have seen the reference to LC.org.
