I was running a SPT intake with a Stage 1 AccessPort and kept

getting a "rich" error and couldn't figure out how to solve the issue

but after reading this its clear that the stock intake system can be

a great choice even up to a Stage 2 upgrade!!

the stock intake system can be

a great choice even up to a Stage 2 upgrade!!

There are lots of people pushing well beyond 350whp on the stock intake system.

Would an aftermarket panel filter help at all? Like a Perrin or AFE?

 

Only if by 'help' you mean 'let more dirt through'.

I have an AFe dry filter. Only reason, as so I could decrease maintenance problems. Stock filters work great, but I kept receiving the wrong ones when ordering them. Now I can just blow out the dirt and call it good.
